Boxed Wine for Yuppies
Even shoppers who distance themselves from the boxed-wine aisle have probably wondered: can they package the good stuff that way?
They can, and Daniel Johnnes - a Renaissance man in the wine world - has. He had some help from his friends and partners, the chef Daniel Boulud and the vintner Dominique Lafon of Domaine des Comtes Lafon in Burgundy.
It's like $34 a "tube" and is equivalent to 4 bottles of wine. We gotta find some!

Can't they come in half-bottle size and in a plain discrete container? I need some right now at work.
Rofl...at least you have a full time-job!! BTW, can you bring us Pita Inn for moving party on Friday??? I'll reimburse you!!
There is a moving party on Friday? What's a moving party?
The "party" bit is a euphemism. We're basically human pack mules :)
Is that when we go to Michelle's place, look around, and start moving some of her stuff to our places so that she has less to move on Saturday?
Sure, we could do that too. Or, we could bring price tags and host an estate sale, with proceed going to tribal celebration.
C-"Always Looking to Make A Buck"-T.
Maybe I can add some stuff to her place, like a table with demin pant legs.
