Okay so I was wondering what people will be bringing on Sunday. I dont want to overlap on the entrees you make. Give an idea of what your entree will be. Thanks.

I seriously doubt any of us will overlap with you, unless you're going to prepare something non-veggie for us!!! ROFL....
Anyway, I'm making tamales...efforting a veggie filling, though have not found one yet!!
I think I'll bring avocado/cream cheese rolls per request ;)...and a SAUCY TART, baby!!!
Just got a new rolling pin yesterday, Brady, you'll remember which one. The red alumninum tapered beauty we saw at Sur La Table.
Ooooohhh avocado, yummy!!!! make sure they're truly ripe!!! I'm going to Pilsen tomorrow, do you want me to buy you a few???
Nah, that's okay. :) I'll just grab a couple on Saturday from the Del Ray near me. Brady's going to bring some fish from Mitsuwa, so we'll have some other rolls as well.

Carolyn: Avocado and cream cheese rolls/saucy tarts
Dave: Jambalaya
Manish: 3-month-old black beans still in can with seran wrap over them

fish won't be from mitsuwa - it will be most likely from a korean grocery store in northbrook area. i'll also bring some korean sides like seaweed salad.
Yes please having soda around would be greatly appreciated

Yes - please have some non-alcoholic beverages. Eva picked up some sushi-grade salmon and one other type of fish. I'll try to whip up something else. Do any of you have any creme brulee ramkins?
