The further adventures of thu....Anais

Here's a good one. I brought Vivi over to Michelle's place to keep Anais company while her mommy is gone. As soon as I open Vivi's carrier, they automatically start playing. Good so far.

One of their favorite games is chase-and-destroy. Anais tackles Vivi, Vivi squashes Anais. (Vivi's about three pounds bigger.) Same ol, same ol. But wait, this is funny.

In the latest bout, Vivi leapt onto the glass coffee table and laid down nonchalantly. Good strategy. Thup...I mean...Anais dashes underneath the coffee table in hot pursuit and promptly slams her head on the glass trying to get at Vivi.

Genius.

But wait, there's more. I was about to clean out the litter when this happened, so I left one of those plastic garbage bags on the floor next to me as I typed out this entry. Thup...Anais somehow got into the bag, and instead of backing out of it like most normal cats would, figured that if she kept walking forward, she'd eventually find her way out of the bag. She's still running around with a bag over her head.

Vivi has no idea what to do about this.

I never said she was thupid... :)

Yep, they got along right off the bat. Chasing each other around. Vivi hid behind my backpack, and when Anais turned the corner, blam! One freaked out Siamese scampering away. Lesson learned? Heck no! Vivi immediately crouches down behind the backpack again. I tell her, no way Anais is going to fall for that again. Wouldn't you know, less than 30 seconds later, Anais turns the corner again. THIS time, when Vivi pops out, Anais jumps like three feet straight up in the air. Anais fell for the same trick twice in less than a minute...
