Rows of Tarts

Eva and I are having a wonderful time in Saigon! Today instead of cruising the Mekong, we went for the 3 hour couples spa at Spa Tropic.

On Sunday, Eva and I checked out the MASSIVE AND AMAZING Sunday brunch at the Sofitel Saigon. The choices were overwhelming. Seafood station, charcuiterie, cheese, desserts, hot dishes, cold dishes, etc. They even had a chocolate fountain. Unlimited foie gras, unlimited lobsters, unlimited oysters, unlimited everything. We lived large. We spent 1.1 million dong. That's a lot of dong!

BTW, I brought a wonderful mac and cheese dish for lunch which was leftover from an amazing early dinner with Neha, Carolyn, and Dave on Sunday. The cheese was oozing out of the noodles. It cost me $4.95, which is about $4.95 in US dollars. We also had Potato Knish, Shakes, Floats, cheese fries, and carolyn had chopped liver on Sunday.

I bought a rotisserie chicken, tortillas and cheese for $10 USD. That is about 12,000 MXP and will feed me in the form of quesadillas, enchiladas and flautas for the next five days!

Dave and I are having a wonderful time in Chicago! Today, instead of going to work, I de-wallpapered my ceiling and went to Home Depot. I also went to Jewel, the one on Broadway and Balmoral. The air-conditioning was on, and that was really nice. I bought a pound of ground Perdue chicken for US $1.86! It was 50% off! I also bought a bunch of cilantro and some light hamburger buns for dinner this evening. Dave and I will cook up some chicken/cilantro burgers with wasabi mayo. Oh! And International Delight creamer was also on sale, so I bought two. I spent US $8.50. That's a lot of dong! :)

Okay, I DO want to know what you're eating. But I ALSO want to know what else you're doing. Don't tell me you and Eva are just restaurant hopping!
