Cyclo Ride in Hoi An

Hoi An is a charming old city designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The old town consists of three long streets parallel to the river. Its within this little area you can find an amazing number of tailor shops, art shops, internet cafes, travel booking offices, and of course cyclo drivers. These guys are everywhere. I don't remember how much we paid them for an hour but they did try to off load us at a few gift shops. You feel like an idiot in one of these things with the guy biking you around, but hey, its a tourist thing to do and we are tourists. The best is when you see an entire procession of these guys biking around a tour bus of people. Even though there are more tourists in this area than locals, its still a pretty nice place to hang out. There are cute restaurants along the river, there is an old market where locals seem to actually be buying food, there is a nearby beach, and there are plenty of cafes and bars.

As you can see from this picture, our legs still look pretty white. This was not the case after this ride.

Argyle is a beautiful street in which you can take Riksha rides. It is filled with great restaurants and shops. Although there's a lake right next to it, you cannot see it. There are also book stores, magazine shops, and trees.

As you can see from the picture, although it looks like we were in Vietnam for weeks, we got no tan. Thus, after the ride, we will.
