Okay! I finally got the forerunner GPS hooked up to my home computer, and in the process found this amazingly beautiful piece of training software. The prettiest bit is that it overlays your running route over Google maps! Does this rock or what??

Just figured out how to overlay all my runs on Google Earth, so no matter where I go, I can visually chart where I run! What's even cooler...even if you walk, anywhere on this planet, it'll track. New York, San Francisco, Paris, London...imagine, in 50 years, what your Google Earth could look like! Oh, this data whore is in heaven...
I would rock if google maps were accurate!!!! GRRRRR....

how much is this little device, C? It would be fun for my next big trip (wherever that might be). It would have been hilarious for you guys to have been able to track Eva and I walking around in Paris.
I'll show you! :) It was $160, but I got a refurbished one on eBay for $100 including shipping. And it doesn't do live updates (yet), but it is cool to be able to chart everywhere on the earth you've walked! I *heart* the Garmin store. Went there last Sunday. If you want to maybe go there on Saturday and then hit Toro or Hot Dougs, I'm totally up for that! :)
