A dumpling for every occasion!

Michelle and I have had this discussion before, every ethnicity has some form of dumpling. (Hey, that's a great book idea, I should pitch that).

Chinese: potstickers
Mexican: tamale
Indian: samosa
Italian: ravioli
etc. etc.

However, apparently the Jews have taken that one step further, and actually have a specific dumpling for each holiday. I'm jealous. Here's the article

Actually, tamales would not be the equivalent....Empanadas are the Spanish and South American versions, I'm not sure what ours would be. Maybe gorditas?? it's the same dough used for tortillas but thicker and filled with different stuff...
