No more mice or keyboards...

Okay, this is really, really exciting...this morning, Microsoft unveiled one of its top secret innovations, a computer that you interact with using your hands rather than a keyboard and mouse. The very idea of using a computer the way you would a pair of scissors and some glue, absolutely changes the user's approach to computing! I can't wait to see where this next step gets us. Check it out:

Yo quiero Taco Bell!

Woo hoo!! After introducing the "fourth meal" concept (genius, love it), Taco Bell is now going to start testing breakfast items!

***
From Chicago Tribune

"In addition to Burger King, McDonald's soon could be facing increased competition from Subway, Taco Bell and Wendy's, all of which are testing breakfast products...

Wendy's has said that its breakfast test, at 160 restaurants, is to be expanded to 20 percent to 30 percent of its 6,600 restaurants by the end of the year.

Subway is testing a toasted breakfast sandwich at 7,000 outlets that offer breakfast, while Taco Bell is testing a breakfast program in four markets. No date has been set for either to expand nationally.

Taco Bell spokesman Rob Poetsch said the chain, which is offering breakfast burritos and soft tacos, wants to "distinguish ourselves from the biscuit and muffin crowd.""

A virtual tour of my hometown

I've always wanted to take you guys to Mexico City. But since that won't be happening anytine soon I found these wonderful photo sites (uploaded by a local helicopter pilot) with mostly aerial photos of just about every inch of the city, rich, poor and in between. Most of the photos on both sites are the same, but also quite a few differences. I think if in any way I can try to convey the massive crazy place I grew up in this is it....Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Cat too scary for Canadian mail carriers

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) -- Canada's postal system has stopped delivering mail to a home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, after a mail carrier was scared away by a "very threatening cat," the Winnipeg Free Press said Friday.

A Canada Post spokeswoman said the agency was concerned about the safety of its carriers, although it hoped for an amicable solution to its dispute with cat-owner John Samborski.

"The letter carrier who delivers mail there ... was brought up on a farm, she is very comfortable with animals," spokeswoman Kathi Neal told the newspaper. "Apparently this is a very threatening cat."

Samborski told the paper that his 8-year-old, declawed, black cat Shadow is docile, and it was "ridiculous" for Canada Post to make him to pick up his mail from a post office instead of delivering it to his door.

Shadow "likes to eat and sleep and cuddle. You could drop a bomb and he'd just open one eye, take a look, then close them and go back to sleep," Samborski, 41, told the newspaper.

Confused by your neighbors? Then Ask a Mexican!

something about the bolded sentence below makes me laugh and laugh, lolll!!!!

***

PHOENIX (Reuters) - Why do Mexicans use their car horns as a doorbell? Why is Mexican television so obsessed with dwarfs and transvestites? Why do they park their cars on the front lawn?

Do Mexican children get tamales at Christmas so that they have something to unwrap? What is it about the word "illegal" that Mexicans don't understand?

The chances are that you will know the answers to some of these questions if you live in the United States and read the wickedly funny "Ask a Mexican!" column syndicated in more than a score of weekly newspapers across the country.
